Victoria Community Day

The Community Day event was held at Clover Point on the ocean. I wasn't able to attend, but it included games for kids, speeches by Denise Savoie, MP and Janette Loveys, Acting General Manager of CRD Parks, and a symbolic launch of the development of Vancouver Island Spine Trail. One day soon, we hope to see a VI Spine Trail and Trans Canada Trail sign at "Mile 0" beside the start of the Trans Canada Highway - at the bottom of Douglas Street.
