Frontrunners GutBuster Trail Run

Get ready for a GutBusting 5km uphill race, in the snow!
Frontrunners and the Mt Washington Alpine Resort have worked together to find a fun, snowy route up the mountain for this year's race.

This exact course won't be determined until a day or two before the race, as it depends on the melting snowpack. However, the route will be similar to previous years, with a distance of approximately 5km run up to the top of either Mt. Washington (1588m!)or one of its sister mountains, with an estimated 500m of elevation gain. The race will climb steadily throughout the course as you cross the mountain back and forth. Once above the treeline you'll be treated to some unbelievable views of the Comox Valley & Strathcona Park. Definitely the most scenic and rewarding race in the GutBuster series.

They've got more prizes than you can shake a stick at for this event and will be presenting the 2011 season awards to the top individuals and to the top club. After the event join the GutBuster team at Fat Teddy's Pub to celebrate the 11th season.

Register by July 21st online or at any Frontrunners location. You can also sign up before the race between 9:00-10:45 am at the start/finish line.
